Out of the old
shit comes a nugget of brilliance that made me laugh out loud. Ignore my complete and utter ignorance of proper script formatting.
Excerpt from “Bluebird and Dingbat”
Inside a grocery store a huge commotion around the scales complaints about the scales not working right. Camera pans and stops on Two philosophers talking about the decreasing sizes of melons.
PHILOSOPHER ONE
WELL, PERSONALLY I FIND IT INTERESTING THAT WOMEN PERFER TO BUY SMALLER MELONS BECAUSE THEY SUBCONCIOUSLY COMPARE THEM TO THE SIZE OF THEIR OWN BREASTS.
PHILOSOPHER TWO
THAT IS SIMPLY AMAZING. GROCERY STORES ARE SUCH A METAPHOR FOR OUR EXISTENCE.
Goddamn that would make a hilarous single panel comic.
