Without You - written by Michael Truly. Music by Natalie Mathes and Thomas DiSiena

So we love Kelly Clarkson, we really do. And not in a ironic, oh-it’s-so-funny-to-like-Kelly-Clarkson, type of way either. Pure Love for Ms. Clarkson. She is just an amazing song writer and performer. The three of us will spend many a Sunday just laying in a hammock listening to her tomes and think of a possible future where love has conquered all. So when we need a ballad for the break up montage in the third episode of Danger Squad, she proved to be quite the influence. We just hope we did her justice.

I love writing lyrics and music for stuff. The chick singer is so-so at best in my opinion though I’m sure she’s somebodies friend.

I’m just really excited people finally get to hear the third verse that Clint and Nick put their foot down on calling it “too dark” and “probably a cry for help” also “Dude? really?” and “wow. Just- wow. that is fucked up right there.”

Interesting note I wrote most of this in a hotel room overlooking times square with a gigantic billboard of “Live Free or Die Hard” overlooking me. While the rain drizzeled across a stream of yellow taxi cabs my metaphorical blood spiraled down the bathtub drain.
