Yeah Inception was good and all… 

but this…

Might be the best movie I’ve seen all year. Robert Duvall is spellbinding. Sissy Spacek is great and Bill Murray can somehow make the smallest things hilarious. I laughed and I cried. Robert Duvall is going to get an oscar nomination for this. And I feel like the move has a good shot at best picture as well.

Guys seriously, make the effort to see this. It’s so well done and so worth it.

Happy premise #1: There are no aliens.

Happy premise #2: There is no giant foot trying to squash me.

Happy premise #3: Even though I feel like I might ignite… I probably won’t.

I need some good books to read for a beach trip! Last year I read The Descent and it was pulpy and delicious. Thoughts?

This is a great mix albeit with shortcomings. Panama would work way better to kick the whole thing off rather than being a spike in the denouement. Crosby Stills and Nash feel really dated here and the Led Zepplin feels too heavy. But using a Beck backbone with Wilco and Spoon really makes this a fun disk that I’m still listening to in my car.
