Shallow Intellectual

Sometimes it’s hard to convincingly write something that’s insane when your faculties aren’t withered by madenes… other times you realize you have a pocket bulging with mescaline and a Jethro Tull album to get the words out and then you turn it over to Brad Conlin for the backwards jam alley-oop to make the bellevue lunatic asylum proud.

Please Digg it if only for inspired lunacy.

Spaceship Astronauts

The men and women of the USS Spaceship face space madness in a galaxy gone evil or its the most insane, trippy thing you will watch today.

Animated by the genius Brad Conlin who we can’t thank enough for his dedication and his ability to extend the boundaries time and space throughout this process.  Thank you so much Brad.  We would also like to thank Atom.com and Ian Friedman for letting us make this.  We don’t think anyone else would.

If you like it, please DIGG it.

A fascinating look at the inclusion of games in our future lives and how facebook point systems will affect everything we do.

It’s possibly the greatest American novel of the past 25 years. It is unique. Blood Meridian is amazing, because it’s so rigid in its outlook, so committed to its vision, that it does not care about the conflict of the reader who, if sane, has to be uncomfortable.

Aleksandar Hemon on Blood Meridian (and four other books) (via ewilcox)

Blood Meridian is one of Shallow Intellectual’s favorite books.

This was only a hundred bucks. But you have to ask how much protection does it really offer for such a cheap price?

There are many reasons why I believe that Flapjack is one of the best shows on TV. This is one of them.

That show’s great. I love that they live inside a whale that sounds like a cheerful portly black woman.

Just found this in one of my records. Looks like 2010 is going to be alright.

Also? Totally going to hang this on the ceiling above my bed.

Someday I’ll make something that’s at least half as good as this album.

The album I picked up today skips in only one place and it couldn’t be a more awesome place for it to skip.
